This page describes how I modified a Meade DS-2102AT-TC to drive my Coronado PST.

Meade Scope

Took a Meade DS-2102AT-TC, $249 from Costco...

After unpacking, analyzed the scope mounting...

Set it up to see if there are any physical limitations I should consider...

All looked fine, so I started manifacturing the bracket...

I decided to use a 2 half bracket solution,
the base plate is mounted here already...

Next step was to assemble the box-mount...

Secure the PST with the camera mount screws...

I also modified an EyeToy camera to be mounted on the bracket...

...so that I can use my computer for automated Sun tracking...

It is ready for deployment, I am connecting both the Autostar
and the camera to my laptop and started writing the software... Oh, what fun...
