On 28/Sept/2006, my "collection" grew with this R/C plane. I got it from uBid for $16 including S&H.
Needless to say, it was more than worth the money...

It took about 10 minutes to assemble it. It's very light, yet quite sturdy. The battery charger is built into the remote controller and takes about 2~5 minutes to charge. Flight time is around 5~10 minutes. |
Cassie had a blast with it. At full power it starts rolling even on the carpet. As there is no rudder control, it uses differential rpm control to turn the plane (~50m), which is surprisingly effective, but far from the sharp turns a real rudder control would provide. |
Well, taking off is still a 50~50. When I launch it, it tends to roll a bit and sometimes end up nose first in the dirt. On one of the last flights I lost the nose cone... Still flies though... |
